Shifted in at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced. Raced keenly in the early stages. L Ferraris was reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 2 consecutive strides inside the 150 Metres.

Jumped with them, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, 4 lengths back turning in, made some progress in straight.

Near the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of SYMBOL OF STRENGTH to continue into clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced 2 wide towards rear, angled out and made contact near 450M, no clear run until approaching final 100M, made no progress thereafter.

Shifted out on jumping and was bumped. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind LUCKY PLANET.

Bumped start, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened final 50M.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, 6 to 7 lengths back turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line.

When caught wide in the early stages was shifted across behind runners where it obtained cover near the 900 Metres.

Began only fairly from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, closed off well to take a place.

Approaching the 250 Metres was shifted in towards WINGS OF WAR and was steadied. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced prominently on the outside, 1-1/4L back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between ANOTHER ZONDA and SYMBOL OF STRENGTH, both of which shifted ground. Raced keenly in the early stages and approaching the first turn was steadied to avoid WINGS OF WAR.

Made contact shortly after start, taken back to race 2 wide at rear, 6 lengths back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared near 150M, finished off very strongly to take 2nd, nearest finish.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by DOUBLE MONEY which shifted in. Approaching the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid GRACIOUS EXPRESS when that runner shifted out and away from WINGS OF WAR. Near the 50 Metres M L Yeung dropped his whip. M L Yeung reported that his mount, which was having its first race start at Happy Valley, was uncomfortable racing on the track. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Bumped start and unbalanced, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 lengths back turning in, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shifted in on jumping, made contact with GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY and became unbalanced. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <29/1/2026 Additional Veterinary Report>DOUBLE MONEY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. DOUBLE MONEY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C S Shum this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DOUBLE MONEY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
