Jumped only fairly, raced towards rear, 3 to 4 lengths back, moved closer approaching 500M, kept on well until no extra final 100M.

After the 500 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from AQUAMAN. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the inside of BIG RETURN. Apprentice E C W Wong stated that the intention was to be more forward but after jumping only fairly and being crowded at the start his mount settled further back in the field than intended.

Began well, raced prominently, took the lead 250M, kept on well, just able to hold off the challenger.

In the early stages raced keenly. After improving to the inside of UP WITH CHARM near the 1200 Metres became unbalanced when it made contact with ALL’S WELL.

Jumped well from gate 1, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead 500M, peaked and headed 300M, weakened final 100M.

Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running and near the 300 Metres was checked to avoid BIGTIME GENERATION when being shifted to that runner’s outside.

Began only fairly, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader in the middle of the track, hard ridden after passing 300M but showed no response, weakened final 200M. (Roarer.) (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by BIGTIME GENERATION which shifted out. Bumped near the 1200 Metres. Approaching the 300 Metres was checked when crowded between LUCKY BALERION (L Ferraris) which shifted in slightly and BIGTIME GENERATION which, when giving ground, was taken out by MEANINGFUL DRAGON (L Hewitson) which was also giving ground. Both L Ferraris and L Hewitson were advised to exercise more care. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader, hard ridden 400M but only showed limited response, hampered near 250M, weakened thereafter.

Slow to begin. H Bentley could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced towards rear on the stands' side, hard ridden from 400M but showed no response, eased final 150M.

Jumped only fairly. Raced keenly in the early stages and near the 1100 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from LUCKY BALERION.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. The performance of MEANINGFUL DRAGON was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MEANINGFUL DRAGON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. <5/3/2026 25 January 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting – Race 7 (380)> Additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings.

Began well from gate 14, raced at rear on the stands' rail, failed to make any progress final 400M.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Approaching the 300 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced. H Bowman stated that when he had some concerns that there was something amiss with his mount in the Home Straight he did not ride it out to the finish when not in a competitive position. Mr H F Yiu representing Trainer P F Yiu stated that BIGTIME GENERATION had pleased the stable leading into today’s race and other than the horse racing keenly he could offer no excuse for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of BIGTIME GENERATION, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BIGTIME GENERATION will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Moderately away, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but showed no response, weakened final furlong.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. M F Poon stated that near the 1200 Metres he felt his mount may have been galloped on as it did not travel well thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of UP WITH CHARM, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, UP WITH CHARM will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
