Began well from gate 14, raced at rear on the stands' rail, failed to make any progress final 400M.

Jumped only fairly, raced towards rear, 3 to 4 lengths back, moved closer approaching 500M, kept on well until no extra final 100M.

Made contact with a rail on the way to the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. Near the 1050 Metres became unbalanced when it bumped SUPER RUBICK KID due to both runners shifting ground. Briefly held up approaching the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well from gate 1, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead 500M, peaked and headed 300M, weakened final 100M.

C Y Ho was severely reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 3 consecutive strides passing the 200 Metres.

Made contact at start, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader, hard ridden 400M but only showed limited response, hampered near 250M, weakened thereafter.

As the start was effected became fractious and as a consequence was slow to begin. K Teetan reported that the intention was to be slightly more forward but his mount settled slightly further back in the field when it was slow to begin. Between the 350 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running.

Made contact at start, raced slightly better than midfield on the middle track, hard ridden approaching 300M, finished off evenly.

A Badel, who weighed in at 117 lbs, was fined the sum of $5,000 for returning to scale 2 lbs overweight.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by GALLANT DESIGN which shifted in. M Guyon reported that the intention was to lead the event but when his mount jumped only fairly and was bumped by GALLANT DESIGN it did not show sufficient pace to lead. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced in midfield, hard ridden after passing 400M but only showed limited response, weakened inside final furlong.

On jumping shifted out and made heavy contact with BETTER AND BETTER. Near the 1050 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by GALLANT DESIGN due to both runners shifting ground. J Orman reported that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly throughout the event.

Moderately away, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but showed no response, weakened final furlong.

R Kingscote stated that his mount lay in throughout the event, particularly when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
