RUBICK, a son of ENCOSTA DE LAGO, was trained by Gerald Ryan with a record of 3 wins and 1 third in 8 starts including G2 Schillaci Stakes, G3 Blue Diamond Prelude (Colts and Geldings) and placing 4th in G1 Blue Diamond Stakes. He joined the Coolmore's stallion roaster at the beginning and stands at Swettenham Stud with 14 black type contests winners; with winner of 2019 The Everest YES YES YES, Golden Rose Stakes and Orr Stakes winner JACQUINOT as his representative. RUBICK has been sold to Huayu Horse, China in 2025. SUPER RUBICK KID was trained by Toby Edmonds in Australia and took part in 2 barrier trials where he sat on-pace early and ran on for 3rd under a hold in an 850M section (15th Jul 2025) on soft going, then pushed to sat behind the pace and ran on well to win a 1050M trial (31st Jul 2025) on soft going. His dam BELLA AVA won at 1100M and two of her foals won at 1300M or upper in distance. The chestnut gelding should be most suited over 1400M or upper in distance and fine on soft going.
