Z Purton stated that after settling towards the back of the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight due to the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start was momentarily crowded by PHANTOM CYCLONE. Near the 1500 Metres commenced to race keenly when being steadied to allow SOARING BRONCO to cross.

Made contact with the right side of the starting gate on jumping, taken back to race towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, no clear run until approaching final 50M, made no progress thereafter.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. The performance of BINGO BABE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BINGO BABE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
