Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the inside, angled out after passing 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to take 2nd.

Shifted in over the final 100 Metres, resulting in its rider J McDonald having to stop riding and straighten his mount after the 50 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly and made contact, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 wide after passing 800M, moved closer 600M, 2-1/2L back turning in, finished off well to score.

Bumped at the start and then a short distance later was eased when racing tight to the inside of THOUSAND CUPS which shifted in. Approaching the 1000 Metres made contact with GOLDEN DARCI when GOLDEN DARCI shifted in slightly. Over the concluding stages shifted in and away from PERFECTDAY, resulting in its rider H Bowman having to stop riding and straighten. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 lengths back on turn, finished off well to make frame.

Jumped awkwardly. Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres got its head up when positioned close to FRANCIS MEYNELL.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide towards rear, commenced move approaching 800M, very wide on turn, made some headway in straight.

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. In the middle stages raced keenly and leaving the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid HAPPY ALLIANCE. For a short distance approaching the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between HAPPY ALLIANCE and ONE AND ONLY.

Away well, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader, peaked on turn, weakened final furlong.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up on the Home Turn. Near the 200 Metres was steadied when racing tight to the inside of PERIDOT which shifted in and away from SMART FIGHTER.

Jumped with them, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

Bumped at the start. Over the final 150 Metres lay in and near the 100 Metres was corrected by its rider. Over the concluding stages was checked to avoid FLOW WATER FLOW which, after being taken in by PERFECTDAY (J McDonald), then shifted in and away from that runner despite the efforts of its rider H Bowman. J McDonald was reprimanded and advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion.

Began well from a wide draw, raced 2 wide in midfield, moved closer after passing 750M, 3 wide turning in, showed good response in straight, took the lead 150M, peaked and headed 50M, ran on evenly.

Bumped start, raced in 2nd, 3/4L back, pressed leader on turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter.

Shortly after the start made contact with SMART FIGHTER which shifted in. Bumped approaching the 1000 Metres. Raced wide and without cover from the 600 Metres.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, peaked on turn, weakened and eased inside final furlong.

On jumping was crowded by LUCKY MAN which shifted in. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
