Taken back from the widest draw, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground throughout, made little progress in straight.

Near the 550 Metres was eased when racing tight to the inside of SKY CAP. Approaching the winning post raced tight between WINNING MONEY and FREE PONY which shifted in. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from gate 9, raced at tail, commenced move 650M, took the lead 500M, led by a length turning in, peaked and headed near 150M, weakened thereafter.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced 2 wide in midfield, awkwardly placed near 450M, 4 lengths back turning in, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped awkwardly. Trainer D J Hall confirmed that from the outside barrier he had instructed J McDonald to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. After being shifted to the inside of ARGENTO OCEAN near the 150 Metres then was held up over the final 100 Metres when racing tight to the inside of ARGENTO OCEAN which shifted in and when positioned close to the heels of WINNING MONEY.

Taken back to race behind midfield on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight.

Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of H Doyle, 6th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, she was nonetheless reminded of her obligation to ensure that she fully rides her mounts out to the finish of the race.

Average to begin, raced behind midfield on the inside, angled out approaching 500M, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, finished off very strongly to score.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 wide approaching 500M, 2 lengths back turning in, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, headed near 500M, 2nd turning in, took the lead 150M, kept on well but unable to hold off the first two close home.

Near the 550 Metres made contact with the running rail when racing tight to the inside of FLYING WROTE.

Between the 800 Metres and the 600 Metres SKY CAP, which was racing keenly, was steadied to avoid SAVVY TWINKLE (H Doyle) which shifted in when not quite clear and then steadied the pace for some distance thereafter. H Doyle was severely reprimanded and advised she must ensure that she is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. Bumped near the 250 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, angled out 400M, kept on well until final 50M, ran on evenly to the line.

Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by WINNING MONEY which shifted out slightly. Bumped approaching the 250 Metres. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Taken back to race at rear, 6 to 7 lengths back, last turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Approaching the 250 Metres ARGENTO OCEAN improved to the outside of SAVVY TWINKLE. A short distance later SAVVY TWINKLE shifted out slightly, resulting in ARGENTO OCEAN shifting out and making contact with SKY CAP, causing SKY CAP to be taken out and WATCH THIS ONE and FLYING WROTE to be taken wider. At the same point FREE PONY was being shifted to the outside of FLYING WROTE and as a consequence was taken wider, resulting in WAVE GARDEN having to be steadied when crowded between WIN METHOD and FREE PONY.
