Average to begin, raced 2 wide behind midfield, commenced move 450M, very wide turning in, finished off very strongly, led close home.

Trainer C H Yip stated that he attributed tonight’s improved performance to the horse jumping better from barrier 2 and being able to take advantage of holding a more forward position as a consequence. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, raced in midfield on the outside, improved after 450M, very wide turning in, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 50M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner late.

Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. In the Home Straight lay in and over the concluding stages H Doyle was obliged to stop riding and straighten her mount when it shifted in towards STAR BROSE. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began smartly from gate 1, raced prominently on the inside, allowed rival to cross near 500M, sat right behind the leader turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Bumped at the start. In the middle stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 900 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from WISEMAN. Near the 150 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of THUNDER BLINK to obtain clear running.

Slowly away and made contact, raced behind midfield on rail, saved ground on turn, no clear run early in straight, cleared near 150M, one-paced thereafter.

On jumping was checked when crowded by PANDA LEGEND which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. Z Purton could offer no excuse for the horse’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer B Crawford advised that he had been pleased with the horse’s work and that DRACO may not have quickened as anticipated due to the application of a hood. He added that Jockey Purton had recommended the horse be stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped on the hindquarters at the start, raced better than midfield on the outside, steadied near 1050M, positioned 2 wide, 2-1/2L back in the middle stages, carried wider 450M, kept on well until final 50M, ran on evenly to the line.

Shifted out abruptly at the start despite the efforts of its rider and made contact with DRACO. R Kingscote stated that his mount did not travel comfortably around the Happy Valley track and, in his opinion, is better suited racing at Sha Tin. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well from the widest draw, sent forward to take the lead, 2 wide, found rail near 500M, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two final 50M.

On jumping was bumped by ALL EYES ON ME. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind VERBIER. J Orman reported that when his mount commenced well it was able to hold a more forward position than had been anticipated. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
