Slightly slow out, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped on jumping, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead near 900M, led by a length turning in, kept on very well in straight, easily scored.

Began only fairly, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 to 4 lengths back turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared near 250M, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

In the Home Straight lay out and near the 200 Metres M L Yeung was obliged to stop riding and straighten his mount. SIGHT DREAMER then continued to lay out over the final 200 Metres and made contact with CALIFORNIA STAR near the 50 Metres.

Average to begin, raced at rear, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. When placed under pressure approaching the 150 Metres lay out, resulting in its rider K Teetan having to stop riding and straighten his mount.

Bumped on jumping, raced 2 wide in midfield, difficult to settle in the early stages, found rail near 800M, 3-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with MR COOL. Leaving the 1500 Metres was checked when crowded between MR COOL which shifted out making the turn and FASHION LEGEND (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in. Apprentice Wong was severely reprimanded. Approaching the 1400 Metres was crowded between SHANGHAI STYLE and MR COOL which shifted out after being steadied. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact at start, raced 3 wide slightly better than midfield, 2 wide on turn, angled out after passing 500M, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced behind midfield on the inside, 5 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, no clear run early in straight, made no progress thereafter.

Near the 550 Metres was hampered when taken wider by CALIFORNIA STAR. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced behind midfield on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, finished off evenly.

Made contact with the right side of its starting gate, raced prominently, difficult to settle in the early stages, made contact 900M, 2 lengths back on turn, weakened early in straight, eased final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped at the start. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.

Bumped start, took the early lead, headed and made contact near 900M, 2nd on turn, hard ridden after passing 350M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 150M.

Was fractious in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Between the 350 Metres and the 200 Metres was badly held up for clear running.

Bumped start, raced better than midfield on the outside, no cover on turn, weakened final 300M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped at the start. Approaching the 1400 Metres was steadied to avoid FASHION LEGEND (Apprentice E C W Wong) when that runner shifted in whilst not clear. Apprentice Wong was severely reprimanded. A Atzeni stated that he could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance and added that the horse, which was having its first race start on the All Weather Track, was not unsuited by racing on this surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea and also found the horse to have sustained a mild abrasion to the left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MR COOL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped start and unbalanced, taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 9 lengths or so back turning in, made some headway in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start was bumped by HAPPY ACTION which shifted in. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped start, raced in midfield on the outside, there to turn, made some progress early in straight, peaked on run 150M, ran on evenly to the line.
