Approaching the first turn near the 900 Metres raced keenly and got its head up when being eased to obtain a position with cover behind PRAY FOR JUSTICE. Sent for sampling post-race.

Out with rest, positioned 2 wide better than midfield, angled out approaching 650M, 3 wide turning in, showed good response in straight, hit the front 150M, kept on well to hold off the challengers late.

B Avdulla reported that he was instructed not to make too much use of the horse in the early stages to ensure it was able to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight. He said when JUNEAU PRIDE jumped only fairly it did not show early pace, particularly with the hood being applied for the first time and as a result he elected to ride JUNEAU PRIDE conservatively in the early stages. Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions issued.

In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres was steadied away from NOVA KNIGHT. C Y Ho reported that his mount was out-paced in the early stages but responded reasonably well to his riding in the Home Straight and he recommended that the horse should be stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed some response early in straight, no clear run final 150M.

Apprentice E C W Wong reported that his mount raced keenly during the race and near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid ANODE. He said as a result PANACEA was obliged to race wide and without cover thereafter.

R Kingscote reported that his mount raced keenly during the race and was obliged to race wide and without cover from the 900 Metres before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
