Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, angled out 450M, not enough room early in straight, cleared 200M, one-paced thereafter.
Taken back from a wide draw, raced at tail, 8 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, made good progress in straight without threatening.

He ran on 9th in Golden Slipper, then landed G1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes and Champagne Stakes with Hugh Bowman on board afterwards. The colt took part in 6 attempts at age 3 where he got a 3rd in Golden Rose Stakes. The son of REDOUTE’S CHOICE commenced stud duties since 2021 that stationed at Coolmore with 1 black type contests winner. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 16,500.FLYING HUNTER was formerly known as BORUS' LEGACY and trained by Clinton Taylor in Australia. After 2 barrier trials, he shared led early and quickened well to win on his debut in a 1050M race with blinkers at Rockhampton. Same sire runners tend to be precocious while his dam DUHALLOW won at 900M and 1006M and her foals won from 1000M to 1010M. The bay gelding should be a sprinter that most suited from 1000M to 1400M while he is fine at Happy Valley and no issue on soft going.
