Bumped shortly after start, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, kept on same pace to the line.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running. Approaching the 100 Metres was then steadied when improving into a narrow run between HAROLD WIN which shifted in slightly and AKASHVANI which shifted out slightly. After the 100 Metres KEMPES was then bumped by AKASHVANI which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide towards rear, 6 lengths or so back, angled out 500M, made no progress in straight.

Bumped at the start. After the 1000 Metres was eased to avoid HAYDAY (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in when not clear. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care and to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped start, raced 3 wide better than midfield early, 2 wide after passing 900M, 3Ls back turning in, made some progress early in straight, peaked 150M, kept on evenly to the line. (See Racing Incidents.) (Lame left front leg.)

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. H Bowman was reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 2 consecutive strides after the 200 Metres and again near the 100 Metres.

Moderately away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, difficult to settle in the early stages, 5 lengths back turning in, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start shifted in, made contact with SIX PACK and became unbalanced. Shifted out after the 100 Metres and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.

Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres. Near the 200 Metres ONE MORE was shifted to the outside of LUCKY PLANET to continue into clear running. For a short distance near the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving to the inside of AKASHVANI.

Out in line, raced 3 wide behind midfield, carried wider after passing 700M, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, showed some response early in straight, weakened gradually final 150M.

Near the 150 Metres was steadied when crowded between ONE MORE (L Ferraris) which shifted to the outside of LUCKY PLANET to improve and KEMPES (A Atzeni) which was being shifted to the inside of HAROLD WIN to obtain clear running. Both L Ferraris and A Atzeni were advised to exercise more care.

Moderately away from the widest draw, raced better than midfield but trapped wide, moved a bit closer after passing 1000M, 2nd on turn, 2 wide, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

Shifted in at start and made contact, positioned better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on well in straight to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

On jumping was crowded between EVERSTAR and LUCKY PLANET which shifted in when being corrected by its rider. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Jumped well from gate 12, sent forward to take the lead, enjoyed the easy lead in the middle stage, kicked clear early in straight, kept on very well to the line and scored.
