On jumping was checked when crowded between GOOD LUCK BABE and DAILY TROPHY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider L Hewitson.

Had its left front plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Jumped only fairly and then was steadied when crowded between FORTUNE WARRIOR and GOOD LUCK BABE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Shifted out at start, showed no speed, raced at rear on outer, 6 to 7 lengths back turning in, failed to close off in straight.

After the event Apprentice P N Wong stated that she was obliged to make too much use of her mount in the early stages to take up a position outside the lead which resulted in the horse not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small abrasion to the right hind pastern.
