Jumped well, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off strongly to score.

Near the 150 Metres lay out, resulting in its rider B Avdulla changing his whip through to his left hand. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, found rail near 700M, angled out 450M, finished off strongly to take 2nd.

In the early part of the Home Straight hung in and had difficulty obtaining clear running when it proved reluctant to shift to the outside of MOTOR. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 1, took the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two final 75M.

Jumped only fairly. Leaving the 900 Metres was eased when being crossed by YOUNG FIGHTER. Approaching the 500 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced when SUPER DRAGON shifted to the outside of KING DANCE to commence a forward move.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened gradually final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 150 Metres was eased when crowded between MOTOR and ALABAMA SONG which shifted out abruptly. After the event M F Poon stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position. He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow WINNING CHAMPION to continue forward to avoid covering additional ground.

Average to begin, raced in midfield, 3 lengths or so back turning in, kept on same pace in straight.

Bumped shortly after start, raced towards rear on the inside, a bit closer in the middle stages, angled out approaching 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, finished off evenly. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event L Ferraris stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position but when his mount jumped only fairly it settled further back in the field. He said approaching the first turn near the 900 Metres SUPER DRAGON, which was having it first race start, became badly unbalanced when reluctant to hold its position to the inside of JUST FOLLOW ME. He said SUPER DRAGON then continued to race greenly for the remainder of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 10, raced towards rear on the outside, 8 lengths or so back, travelled greenly in the early stages, found rail near 700M, same margin back turning in, made no impression in straight.

Bumped shortly after the start. A short distance later was steadied to avoid LIGHT YEARS GLORY (M Chadwick) which shifted in when not clear. M Chadwick was severely reprimanded. Approaching the first turn commenced to race keenly and shifted out when being steadied away from YOUNG FIGHTER. EMERGING STAR then hung out making the first turn and as a consequence raced wide and without cover thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
