Began well from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off evenly. (See Racing Incidents.)

Average to begin, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide turning in, no clear run early in straight, cleared approaching 200M, finished off very strongly to take 2nd, just beaten by a head.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 350 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between CHARITY TOGETHER and AGENDA. As a result FAMILY JEWEL made contact with AGENDA leaving the 300 Metres.

Bumped shortly after start, trapped wide in midfield, no cover on turn, weakened early in straight when hard run took effect.

Jumped well, raced prominently early, positioned 2 wide better than midfield after passing 900M, 2 lengths back turning in, hit the front 250M, kept on very well in straight to hold off the challenger late.

After the event A Badel stated that he was instructed to ride his mount along in the early stages as the horse has a tendency to not stretch out in the early stages. He said when caught wide he then elected approaching the first turn to continue forward and cross to his inside which resulted in his mount leading the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
