Raced keenly in the middle stages. Near the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid HONG LOK GOLF. As a result C P BRAVE was then allowed to stride forward where it raced wide and without cover thereafter.

After the event Y L Chung advised that with the horse stepping up in grade he was satisfied with its finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
