Near the 1400 Metres raced keenly when being crossed by PRESTIGE GOOD. Approaching the 1300 Metres was bumped by SUPER SICARIO which was positioned tight to the inside of SILVER UP.

Commenced well, raced behind midfield on outer, 5 lengths or so back turning in, peaked early in straight, kept on same pace to the line. (See Racing Incidents.) (Lame right front leg next day morning.)

Near the 1500 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid PRESTIGE GOOD. Near the 1300 Metres was bumped when racing tight to the inside of SILVER UP. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 1000 Metres was steadied away from MULTIDUTCH. Lay in in the Home Straight and proved difficult to ride out.

Away well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/2L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Was obliged to race wide and without cover from the 900 Metres. After the event A Badel stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but JOLLY JUMPER did not show sufficient pace to do so, particularly with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time.

Average to begin, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader, saved ground on turn, kept on well in straight to take 2nd, no threat to the winner.

After the event J Orman reported that his mount did not travel well throughout the race and failed to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well, raced in 2nd, 1-1/2L back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Near the 1100 Metres made contact with MULTIDUTCH due to both runners shifting ground. After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount was caught wide in the early stages and as a result he was obliged to make some use of SILVER UP near the 1000 Metres to go forward to cross MULTIDUTCH. He said his mount came under pressure from the 600 Metres and then gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of SILVER UP was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race start. Before being allowed to race again, SILVER UP will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

Jumped awkwardly. Near the 1100 Metres made contact with SILVER UP due to both runners shifting ground. Approaching the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid SILVER UP which shifted in when giving ground. The performance of MULTIDUTCH, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MULTIDUTCH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
