Bumped shortly after start, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, difficult to settle in the early stages, commenced move 400M, finished off evenly.

Lay in in the early part of the Home Straight and near the 300 Metres was corrected by Y L Chung. After the event Y L Chung stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said when PRIME MORTAR was obliged to race wide and without cover it raced too keenly and was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Trainer A S Cruz confirmed the instructions issued.

Began smartly, raced 3 wide better than midfield, no cover on for the majority of the race, 1-1/2L back turning in, finished off strongly to score by a narrow margin.

Near the 600 Metres bumped with THRIVING BROTHERS. After the event H Bowman stated that his mount finished the race off in a one-paced manner and would appreciate being stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at tail, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, passed some tired runners in straight.

Near the 300 Metres was steadied to avoid PRIME MORTAR when disappointed for clear running to the inside of PRIME MORTAR when PRIME MORTAR lay in despite the efforts of its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly, taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 6 lengths or so back turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line.

Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Began awkwardly, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 4 lengths or so back, same position on turn, kept on same pace in straight.

Held up making the Home Turn. After the event M L Yeung reported that his mount jumped only fairly and as a consequence settled slightly further back than anticipated. He added in the middle stages when he was of the opinion that the pace steadied MY INTELLIGENT then commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from SUPER SIXTY and did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped well, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, a length back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.
