Began well, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the stands' rail, hard ridden approaching 300M but only showed limited response, weakened final furlong. (Lost right front plate.)

For a short distance after the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 3/4L, kept on well final 400M but unable to hold off the winner final 75M, finished 2nd.

When questioned regarding her riding in the middle stages and the reason she improved to the outside of ACROSS DA UNIVERSE leaving the 700 Metres, Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to hold a forward position. She said after being able to obtain a position with cover behind ACROSS DA UNIVERSE she elected to shift to that runner’s outside leaving the 700 Metres as CIRCUIT MIGHTY has a tendency to race keenly and she wanted to give the horse an unimpeded run in the race. She added that after being obliged to race four wide and without cover from the 700 Metres CIRCUIT MIGHTY responded well to her urgings in the Home Straight. The Stewards advised Apprentice Wong that, in their opinion, she had made an error of judgement by shifting to the outside of ACROSS DA UNIVERSE too soon which resulted in her mount racing unnecessarily wide in the middle stages.

Average to begin, raced in midfield, hard ridden after passing 350M and made minor progress, peaked 150M, ran on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by COLOURFUL WINNER which shifted out abruptly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Throughout the early stages raced keenly as its rider J Orman endeavoured to restrain his mount to find cover. SIGHT DREAMER did not respond to his efforts and was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Near the 300 Metres was steadied when crowded between ACROSS DA UNIVERSE and SHAMUS STORM (Z Purton) which shifted out to improve. Z Purton was reprimanded.

After the event B Avdulla stated that when his mount commenced well he elected to go forward to capitalise on its good start.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced at rear, 4 lengths back in the middle stages, commenced move approaching 400M, showed very good response, took the lead near 75M, kept on well to the line.

Made contact with the right side of the starting gate on jumping. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, C YEAH will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
