Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SUPER INFINITY. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, LUPO SOLITARIO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between SUPER INFINITY which was taken out by YUEN LONG ELITE and THE BOOM BOX which shifted in. In the middle stages raced keenly. Approaching the 50 Metres was steadied to avoid NEW FUTURE FOLKS (B Thompson) which shifted out when giving ground. B Thompson was advised to exercise more care.

Bumped shortly after the start. After the event Z Purton stated that his mount travelled only fairly throughout the race. He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight THE BOOM BOX did not respond to his riding and after becoming awkward in its action near the 300 Metres he did not ride the horse out to the finish when he was concerned there may be something amiss with it. Trainer W Y So advised THE BOOM BOX had pleased him leading into the race and he would now liaise with the connections to consider as to whether the horse should be given a let-up before its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of THE BOOM BOX was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, THE BOOM BOX will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
