Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.

On jumping was bumped and became unbalanced. After the event, C Y Ho reported that on jumping his mount shifted out abruptly when it appeared to shy away from the starting rostrum.

Taken back from gate 13, raced at rear on the outside, there to turn, 8 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

Blundered on jumping and then was steadied when crowded between CIRCUIT FIERY and HIGHLAND RAHY which shifted out abruptly. Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of CALIFORNIA MOXIE to continue into clear running. For some distance near the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run between CALIFORNIA MOXIE and HIGHLAND RAHY and as a result made contact with CALIFORNIA MOXIE.

Taken back from gate 11, raced 2 wide towards rear, commenced move 550M, 6-1/2L back turning in, finished off well without threatening the first few.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 3 wide towards rear, 6 lengths or so back turning in, made good progress in straight to take a place.

A Hamelin was fined the sum of $2,000 for failing to present himself in the Parade Ring by the required time.

Away well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, travelled comfortably in the middle stages, angled out 500M, hit the front 250M, kept on well to the line and scored.

K De Melo was fined the sum of $2,000 for failing to present himself in the Parade Ring by the required time. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up for clear running from the 450 Metres to the 300 Metres.

Began awkwardly, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, moved a bit closer on turn, finished off evenly.

After the event, K Teetan stated that whilst his mount may appreciate being stepped up in distance, it did not respond to his riding when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Trainer C W Chang stated that the only explanation he could offer was that CALL ME SUPREME may not have appreciated the "Good to Yielding” track conditions, but nevertheless he was disappointed with the performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CALL ME SUPREME was considered to be disappointing as compared to its recent starts. Before being allowed to race again, CALL ME SUPREME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
