Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was steadied when crowded by FLYING SILVER which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. Approaching the 300 Metres shifted out when placed under pressure, resulting in its rider Y L Chung having to stop riding and straighten.

Began well from a wide draw, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield, no cover on turn, showed limited response early in straight, one-paced thereafter.

Approaching the 300 Metres was taken wider by ALL ARE MINE (Y L Chung) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider. Y L Chung was advised to exercise more care.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount settled back in the field as instructed. He added he placed VIVA CHALEUR under pressure from the 800 Metres and the horse finished the race off in a one-paced manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

He said when the pace of the event increased from the 800 Metres his mount came under pressure and did not finish the race off thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly, positioned 4 lengths behind the leader on the inside, 2 wide after passing 450M, not enough room early in straight, made good progress thereafter to take a place.

After the event, H Bentley stated that when he was concerned there was something amiss with his mount near the 600 Metres he eased it out of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CONFRINGO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, CONFRINGO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
