Jumped well, raced prominently on outer early, slightly taken back after passing 1200M, positioned in midfield in the middle stages, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Incident Report
Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier. Made contact with GALAXY PATCH for some distance after the 1100 Metres when being shifted to the outside of WINNING DRAGON. Near the 850 Metres LA CITY BLANCHE improved to the inside of VOYAGE BUBBLE. A short distance later VOYAGE BUBBLE then lay out and away from LA CITY BLANCHE which resulted in VOYAGE BUBBLE then striking the heels of ENSUED (K Teetan) when that runner shifted in. Whilst considering the evidence of J McDonald who stated that his mount lay out in this incident, the Stewards advised K Teetan to exercise more care and to ensure that he leaves comfortable racing room for runners to his inside. Near the 300 Metres was eased and shifted to the outside of WINNING DRAGON to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

Bumped shortly after start, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead near 1050M, challenged by rival from 500M, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed approaching 200M, weakened final 100M.

Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SWORD POINT. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, 6 lengths or so back in the middle stages, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight to take a place.

Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped by FIVE G PATCH which shifted in.

Bumped shortly after start, took the early lead, headed near 1050M, raced prominently 3 wide in the middle stages, retook the lead approaching 200M, peaked and headed 100M, ran on evenly to the line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start raced tight to the inside of ENSUED. Entering the Back Straight VOYAGE BUBBLE (J McDonald) shifted out to the outside of WINNING DRAGON which resulted in VOYAGE BUBBLE and GALAXY PATCH making contact between the 1100 Metres and the 900 Metres. J McDonald was advised to exercise more care. When questioned, B Shinn stated that after commencing well GALAXY PATCH was able to obtain a more forward position without being pressured to do so. He said after racing tight to the inside of ENSUED near the 1500 Metres, GALAXY PATCH was disadvantaged in the middle stages when racing tight to the outside of VOYAGE BUBBLE when that runner shifted out and as a result his mount raced keenly throughout the middle stages before being left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after start, tracked leaders on the inside, challenged the leader 500M, kept on well early in straight, peaked 100M, weakened gradually thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 800 Metres was checked to avoid VOYAGE BUBBLE.

Bumped start and unbalanced, raced 3 wide at rear, travelled keenly near 800M, wider turning in, made no progress in straight.
