Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start and became unbalanced. After the event, H Bentley advised that his instructions were to lead today. Trainer A S Cruz confirmed the instructions issued.

Bumped on jumping, raced 2 wide slightly behind midfield, there to turn, no clear run early in straight, made good progress thereafter to take 2nd, no threat to the winner.

Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between SIMPLE HEDGE and LIVEANDLETLIVE which shifted out and away from SUPREME AGILITY. For a short distance near the 400 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.

When questioned, A Badel stated that his instructions were to settle where comfortable but had anticipated to be slightly more forward. He said from a wide barrier he elected to shift MARKWIN behind runners to avoid racing wide. He added from the 800 Metres he commenced a forward move as he felt it would be difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight as the pace of the event was run on standard time.

Bumped start, raced 2 wide at rear, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.
