From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the early part of the Home Straight lay in when being shifted to the outside. After the event, C Y Ho reported that his mount was disadvantaged when the pace steadied in the middle stages and as a result found it difficult to run on in the Home Straight from back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced towards rear on the outside, sent forward after passing 700M, a length back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M. (Bled.) (Lame right front leg next day.)

Approaching the 1400 Metres was steadied to avoid DRAGON STAR (C L Chau) when that runner shifted in when not quite clear. C L Chau will be advised to exercise more care.

Jumped awkwardly and made contact, raced at rear, 8 lengths or so back, a bit closer after passing 600M, very wide into straight, made no impression in the run home.

Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. Shortly after the start raced in restricted room between DRAGON DELIGHT and AMAZING AWARD which shifted out. After the event, B Avdulla reported that his mount did not travel well at any stage and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. He added that in the circumstances he was not too disappointed with the run, particularly as TAKE ACTION was not beaten too far from the placegetters. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
