Average to begin, positioned 2 wide, a length or so back, found rail 900M, saved ground on turn, took the lead approaching 200M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner close home.

Shortly after the start was eased when crowded between ARDEN and VIEW ALL THINGS which got its head up and shifted in. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded by DRAGON SUNRISE which shifted in. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when held up for clear running between INVINCIBLE LUCKY and KING OBERON.

Crowded start, raced at rear, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

After the event, B Avdulla advised that he was given no specific instructions. He said when his mount jumped awkwardly and was positioned to the outside of DRAGON SUNRISE when that horse lost ground due to its rider losing his iron, he was obliged to steady INVINCIBLE LUCKY to shift in behind DRAGON SUNRISE which resulted in his mount settling towards the rear of the field.

Began smartly from a wide draw, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, no cover on turn, finished off evenly.

Shortly after the start got its head up, shifted in and was bumped. Near the 450 Metres was taken wider by YEE CHEONG GLORY when that runner shifted out to improve.

ARDEN, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, raced ungenerously and near the 1000 Metres became unbalanced when being steadied to allow VIEW ALL THINGS to cross. ARDEN continued to race ungenerously for some distance thereafter.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide towards rear, angled out 500M, 4 lengths or so back turning in, made little progress in straight.

Shifted in at the start and was bumped. On jumping the right iron used by L Hewitson became detached from the saddle which resulted in Jockey Hewitson completing the course without the use of his irons and DRAGON SUNRISE taking no competitive part in the event. After inspecting Jockey Hewitson’s gear after the race, it was identified that the buckle had come loose more than likely due to DRAGON SUNRISE making contact with SUNNY Q at the start. The inspection of the gear also identified that it was in good condition.
