Near the 900 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from STORM RIDER. Briefly held up near the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped with them, raced slightly behind midfield, 4 lengths back on turn, made some progress in straight.

Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier, raced prominently on the inside, shared lead on turn, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner late.

Jumped only fairly. Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, shifted out when being steadied away from TOP GUN, made contact with SILVERY BREEZE and became unbalanced.

Jumped well, raced in midfield, 3 to 4 wide, dropped towards rear 450M, failed to make any progress in straight.

After the event, A Atzeni reported that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions issued.

Jumped well from a wide draw, took the lead, shared lead with rivals on turn, peaked and headed early in straight, weakened final 300M.

Crowded shortly after start, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made some headway in straight. (Lame right front leg next day.)

Slow to begin. Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid FAST NETWORK. Near the 450 Metres raced tight between FAST NETWORK and MARKWIN which shifted out. Crowded near the 200 Metres. Again crowded near the 100 Metres.

Began well, raced slightly better than midfield, 3 wide, similar position on turn, one-paced in the run home.

Near the 200 Metres was checked when crowded between TOP GUN which was taken out by HELENE WARRIOR when that runner shifted out and away from MARKWIN whilst giving ground and KING MILES (A Pouchin) which shifted in slightly. A Pouchin was advised to exercise more care. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, finished off very strongly to score by a neck.

A Pouchin pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 100 Metres (see HELENE WARRIOR).

Began only fairly from a wide draw, raced at tail, 5 to 6 lengths back on turn, made no impression in straight.

A Pouchin (KING MILES) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 100 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in, taking TOP GUN in onto HELENE WARRIOR, resulting in HELENE WARRIOR losing its running and being checked. A Pouchin was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 5 February 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
