Crowded start, raced towards rear on the stands' side, moved a bit closer along the stands' rail in the middle stages, finished off well to take a place without threatening.

Bumped on jumping. After the 1300 Metres was steadied when being crossed by GALLANT CROWN (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in when not quite clear. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from gate 1, raced towards rear on the middle track, 4 lengths back at 400M, finished off evenly.

Approaching the 1200 Metres was eased to avoid GANGNAM STAR which shifted out slightly. Near the 350 Metres was briefly held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of COOL BLUE. Near the 250 Metres shifted out and away from COOL BLUE.

Slightly slow out, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

After the event, K H Chan stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position, but on jumping GO HERO was crowded by RATTAN WORLD which shifted in and as a result settled further back than intended.

Began smartly from gate 13, raced prominently on the stands' side, took the lead 400M, peaked and headed 250M, weakened gradually final 100M.

After the 300 Metres was taken out by FIRE BALL when that runner shifted out and away from MANYTHANKS FOREVER. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Jumped with them, raced prominently, hard ridden after passing 400M but showed no response, weakened final furlong.

Kicked a rail with both hind legs on entering the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier. After the event, M L Yeung reported that the intention was to find cover on his mount, but when caught wide in the early stages RUBY SAILING was allowed to stride forward and lead. He added that RUBY SAILING raced too keenly in the lead and as a consequence gave ground when under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Moderately away from gate 14, positioned a length behind the leader on the stands' rail, took the lead 250M, kept on very well to the line and scored.
