Away well, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, challenged the leader turning in, took the lead early in straight, peaked and headed 250M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Near the 1500 Metres was hampered when taken wider by LUPO SOLITARIO. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced towards rear on the inside, 7 lengths or so back, angled out after passing 500M, made no impression in straight.

On jumping was bumped by DILBAGH and became unbalanced. CAP FERRAT then shifted in and was bumped on the hindquarters by TOY SOLTERO. Between the 400 Metres and 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind AMAZING VICTORY. Sent for sampling post-race.

Average to begin, raced behind midfield on the inside, 2 wide from 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

The Stewards acceded to an application from Z Purton to allow him to ride 2 lbs overweight. The explanation provided by Jockey Purton for the overweight was accepted by the Stewards. Public announcements were made to this effect. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, taken wide in straight and made very good progress, nearest finish.

Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the right side of its barrier, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

After the event, A Badel stated that after travelling well in the lead his mount gave ground over the final 200 Metres and was somewhat disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Fast into stride, tracked leaders, 3 wide, found rail near 1000M, sat right behind the leader in the middle stages, peaked early in straight, weakened 250M, eased final 150M. (Blood in trachea.)

Jumped only fairly, shifted out and made contact with LO PAN SPIRIT. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Out with rest, positioned 3 wide, 3 lengths or so back, no cover for the majority of the race, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

C L Chau pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 1500 Metres (see LUPO SOLITARIO).

Began well, in touch, 2 wide, there to turn, took the lead near 250M, kept on strongly to the line and scored.

Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. C L Chau (GOLDEN ARTIE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 1500 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in whilst riding it along, resulting in LUPO SOLITARIO losing its rightful running and being checked. C L Chau was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 1 January 2025 and to expire on Monday, 6 January 2025 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record.

Average to begin, raced 2 wide slightly better than midfield, 2-3/4L back turning in, finished off well to take 2nd, no threat to the winner.

Crowded at the start. Near the 300 Metres was steadied to avoid GOLDEN ARTIE when that runner was taken out by CAP FERRAT (C Y Ho) which shifted out. C Y Ho was reprimanded. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Began well, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L, challenged by rival turning in, peaked and headed early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.
