Shifted out at start, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, same position on turn, hard ridden from 300M, took the lead 150M, kept on well to the line and scored.

Out with rest, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield, 2 wide from 700M, 3 lengths back turning in, angled out and made contact early in straight, finished off very strongly to take 2nd, just beaten by a neck.

From the 450 Metres until approaching the 300 Metres was held up for clear running and when being shifted to the outside of FORTUNE BOY made contact with DAY DAY VICTORY. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the rail, a bit closer on turn, unable to obtain clear run until near 150M, finished off well to take a place, not quite able to challenge.

Approaching the 250 Metres was disappointed for clear running between LUCKY BLESSING and HAPPY PARK and was shifted to the outside of HAPPY PARK to secure clear running near the 200 Metres.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 3 wide with cover towards rear, angled out 500M, 4-1/2L back turning in, bumped near 300M, made good progress thereafter to make frame without threatening.

Shortly after the start was bumped. Approaching the 300 Metres was taken wider by RUN RUN TIMING. Lay in the Home Straight.

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made good progress in straight without threatening. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. When questioned, B Shinn stated that his instructions were to position his mount where comfortable, but after jumping awkwardly MONARCH COUNTY settled towards the back of the field. He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight MONARCH COUNTY raced greenly and was one-paced and after the 200 Metres he was obliged to shift to the inside of CITY THUNDER to obtain clear running. He added from that point on MONARCH COUNTY continued to race greenly and approaching the winning post shied out which resulted in him having to correct his mount slightly at the finish of the event.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 2 wide towards rear, angled out 500M, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line.

From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running before being shifted to the outside of MR ENERGIA to secure a clear run.

Began well, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably in the middle stages, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Shortly after the start shifted in and was bumped. Approaching the 300 Metres was crowded between MR ENERGIA and DAY DAY VICTORY which was taken out by BRILLIANT EXPRESS (H Bowman) when that runner shifted to the outside of FORTUNE BOY to secure clear running. H Bowman was advised to exercise more care.

Moderately away from the widest draw, raced better than midfield on the outside, no cover throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong.

Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping and became unbalanced, raced 2 wide, 5 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping and became unbalanced. When questioned, C Y Ho stated that his mount raced keenly in the early stages and as a result maintained its position to the inside of BRILLIANT EXPRESS. He said near the 800 Metres when BRILLIANT EXPRESS (H Bowman) shifted in and crowded his mount, SONIC PURSUIT then hung out across the heels of BRILLIANT EXPRESS and as a result was checked. H Bowman was advised in similar circumstances to exercise more care. Continued to race keenly and hang out in the middle stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 13, raced at tail, 6 to 7 lengths back on turn, failed to close off in straight.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 300 Metres, when giving ground, was steadied away from INVINCIBLE LUCKY which shifted out.

Began only fairly, raced slightly behind midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (Lame right front leg next day morning.)

Jumped only fairly. <9/12/2024 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SUPER STRONG MAN was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER STRONG MAN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Average to begin, raced 3 wide slightly better than midfield, difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, bumped and crowded near 300M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

For some distance near the 900 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from PATCH OF TIME. Approaching the 300 Metres was bumped by BRILLIANT EXPRESS. A short distance later was then steadied when crowded between BRILLIANT EXPRESS and RUN RUN TIMING which shifted in and away from MR ENERGIA. After the event, A Pouchin reported that with blinkers applied for the first time his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and refused to settle. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
