Made contact at start, raced in midfield on the inside, 3 lengths or so back, commenced move after passing 450M, bumped early in straight, finished off strongly to score.

After the 300 Metres made contact with GO GO GO when both runners shifted ground. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, sat 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on rail, angled out 400M, bumped early in straight, took the lead 200M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 100M.

Began well, raced behind midfield on the inside, 5 lengths or so back, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, made good progress early in straight, peaked 100M, ran on evenly to the line. (Lame right front leg next day.)

<28/11/2024 Additional Veterinary Reports>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SUNNY BABY was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SUNNY BABY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide towards rear in the early stages, 3 wide from 800M, 5 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame without threatening. (Blood in trachea.)

Incident Report
Shifted out on jumping and was bumped. After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on RUNNING AHEAD at the request of Trainer T P Yung. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, RUNNING AHEAD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Jumped with them, raced towards rear on the inside, 2 wide from 850M, 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress early in straight, no extra final 125M.

Incident Report
Made contact with a rail leaving the Parade Ring, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start and passed suitable to race.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, sent forward after passing 900M, shared lead on turn, peaked and headed 200M, weakened gradually thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event, M Chadwick reported that his intention was to be closer in the early stages, however, HARRY’S HERO jumped only fairly and settled further back. He said when HARRY’S HERO raced keenly, he allowed it to stride forward from the 900 Metres to avoid having to continue to restrain his mount. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped start, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 2 lengths or so back, angled out 450M, very wide entering straight and dropped towards rear, made no impression in the run home.

After the event, C L Chau reported that his mount did not appreciate racing around the Happy Valley circuit and made the Home Turn wide. He said when under pressure in the Home Straight CHATEAU LE PECHE did not respond to his riding and, in his opinion, would be better suited racing at Sha Tin. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced at tail, 6 lengths or so back on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened and eased final 100M.

Bumped at the start. After the event, L Ferraris reported that he was instructed to lead the event. Trainer D Eustace confirmed the instructions issued.
