Jumped only fairly and then was checked shortly after when crowded between RIGHTEOUS ARION which shifted out and SKY FOREVER which, after making contact with SWIFT ASCEND, was then taken in by that runner. Sent for sampling post-race.

Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of SKY FOREVER to continue into clear running. Near the 100 Metres was briefly held up before being shifted to the inside of AURORA LADY to again continue into clear running.

Bumped start, tracked leaders, 2 wide, carried wider 500M, kept on well in straight to take 2nd, no threat to the winner.

Near the 300 Metres was bumped by SWIFT ASCEND which shifted in. After the event, A Atzeni reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, angled out after passing 500M, showed good response in straight, took the lead 250M, kept on very well to the line and scored.

Crowded at the start. Approaching the first turn near the 900 Metres raced tight to the inside of LADY’S CHOICE. A short distance later, SKY FOREVER was crowded when LADY’S CHOICE was taken in by HAROLD WIN which shifted in before being corrected by its rider A Atzeni. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped start, raced 3 wide with cover towards rear, angled out 500M, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount did not appreciate racing to the inside of HAROLD WIN throughout the middle stages and did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly, taken back to race at rear on the inside, 2 wide after passing 550M, 4 lengths or so back turning in, no clear run until 100M, kept on well to make frame without threatening.

Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, THE STORM will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
