Made contact with the right side of its barrier on jumping, raced 3 wide with cover towards rear, angled out after passing 500M, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Raced tight shortly after start, positioned 6 lengths behind the leader on rail, saved ground on turn, kept to inside after straightening and made little progress.

Jumped only fairly. When questioned, C Y Ho stated that his instructions were to settle his mount where comfortable. He said GALAXY PATCH jumped only fairly and as a result settled further back than he anticipated. He further stated that in the early stages GALAXY PATCH raced a little keenly and when he observed HAPPY TOGETHER was caught in a three wide position without cover, he was of the opinion his best option was to obtain a trailing position behind that runner. He said whist acknowledging the early stages of the event were run inside of standard time, when a number of runners were racing keenly to his inside, this had also influenced his decision to obtain the trail behind HAPPY TOGETHER. He added that after improving behind HAPPY TOGETHER near the 900 Metres, BEAUTY JOY then commenced to race keenly and shifted out when being steadied away from TAJ DRAGON which resulted in GALAXY PATCH being taken four wide where it raced without cover thereafter. He said whilst he had attempted to prevent BEAUTY JOY from shifting out, he was not in a position to do so and was concerned that had he persisted, BEAUTY JOY would have been placed in an awkward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly and crowded, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, failed to close off in straight.

Passing the 1300 Metres was steadied when crowded between CHANCHENG GLORY and TAJ DRAGON (A Atzeni) which shifted in and away from VOYAGE BUBBLE (J McDonald) after racing tight to the inside of that runner. Both A Atzeni and J McDonald were advised to exercise more care. For a short distance after this HAPPY TOGETHER raced keenly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Made contact at start, raced in 2nd, 2 lengths or so back turning in, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 900 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from TAJ DRAGON.

Quickly into stride, showed good speed to take the lead, enjoyed the easy lead in the middle stages, kept on very well in straight and scored.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Began well from a wide draw, taken back to race at rear on the outside, still well back on turn, failed to make any progress in straight.

Approaching the 150 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind HAPPY TOGETHER.

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 lengths back turning in, finished off well to take 2nd. (See Racing Incidents.)

When questioned, Z Purton stated that his mount raced keenly in the lead and would not settle. He added when placed under pressure in the Home Straight he had some concerns with the action of BEAUTY ETERNAL near the 300 Metres and from that point the horse did not respond to his urgings. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of BEAUTY ETERNAL was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY ETERNAL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced slightly better than midfield on outer, no cover on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)
