Began well, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, kept on same pace in straight.

Jumped with them, raced behind midfield on rail, 4 lengths or so back, saved ground on turn, made no progress in straight.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. On the Home Turn was held up for clear running. After the event, Y L Chung stated that the instructions were to endeavour to hold a more forward position, however, RED MAVERICK did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began fairly from the widest draw, raced 3 wide with no cover, 2 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final 100M.

In the early part of the Home Straight lay in and was awkwardly positioned behind SUPER WISE DRAGON.

Made contact at start, raced towards rear on the outside, moved closer 1100M, positioned slightly behind midfield in the middle stages, challenged the leader turning in, hit the front 200M, kept on well to the line and scored.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 450M, very wide into straight, finished off very strongly to be nearest on line, just beaten by a narrow margin.

Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Leaving the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from CHARMANDER.

Slowly away, raced 2 wide at rear, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, made minor progress in straight. (Lame right front leg next day.)

Average to begin, sent forward to race prominently, took the lead approaching 1200M, led by 3/4L in the middle stages, challenged by rivals turning in, peaked and headed 200M, weakened final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Out in line, took the early lead, headed approaching 1200M, allowed rival to cross 1000M, sat 1-1/2L behind the leader in the middle stages, kept on well in straight, always just held.

Shortly after the start was crowded between SUPER WISE DRAGON and YEABOI which shifted in slightly. After the event, H Bowman stated that after attempting a tight run to the inside of MERCHANT PRINCE on the Home Turn, his mount was checked when unable to obtain clear running which resulted in KASA PAPA losing momentum at that stage of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, taken back to race at tail, 6 lengths back on turn, made good progress in straight without threatening.

After arriving on course was found to have superficial graze above left eye, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Bumped shortly after the start. After the event, Z Purton stated that the intention was to endeavour to find cover if possible. He said in the early stages SUPER WISE DRAGON raced keenly and as the horse is a "roarer”, he was reluctant to excessively restrain his mount to obtain a position with cover. He said as a result SUPER WISE DRAGON, which continued to race keenly, raced outside the lead before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. The performance of SUPER WISE DRAGON was considered disappointing as compared to its last race start. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER WISE DRAGON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Commenced well, positioned 2 wide, 2-1/2L back, similar position on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

After the event, B Avdulla reported that after being obliged to race wide and without cover in the early stages his mount became under pressure in the middle stages and weakened in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of YEABOI, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, YEABOI will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
