Out with rest, raced better than midfield on the outside, commenced move 500M, took the lead 400M, kept on very well in straight, won by 1-1/2L.

For a short distance near the 200 Metres Apprentice E C W Wong was unable to use his whip when he had difficulty changing it from his left to his right hand.

After the event, Apprentice P N Wong reported that her mount raced keenly in the lead and as a consequence was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, 3 wide approaching 800M, moved closer on turn, finished off well to take 2nd, no threat to the winner.

Jumped only fairly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. After the event, Z Purton stated that he was obliged to ride his mount along throughout the early and middle stages to maintain his position and in the Home Straight finished the raced off in a one-paced manner. He added, in his opinion, HOLY POWER would be better suited by being stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away with them, raced behind midfield on the outside, 3-1/2L back turning in, closed off well to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Over the concluding stages had some difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind FLYING DRAGON. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small cut to the left hind leg.
