Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide better than midfield early, found rail near 800M, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run until final 50M, finished off well to take 2nd.

Crowded shortly after start, positioned 3 wide, a length or so back, 2 wide from 800M, 3 wide turning in, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Bumped on jumping. After the 600 Metres became unbalanced when racing tight between HAPPY TANGO and SILVER SPURS which shifted out. Held up making the Home Turn. After the 200 Metres shifted out and made contact with E UNIVERSE. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began awkwardly, taken back to race at rear, 5 lengths back turning in, unable to obtain clear run in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the 600 Metres, when racing greenly, shifted out slightly and made contact with ROARING BEBE.

Out in line, trapped very wide in midfield early, slightly taken back after passing 1000M, raced 3 wide with cover behind midfield in the middle stages, very wide turning in, made minor progress in straight.

Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped. Bumped after the 200 Metres. After the event, L Hewitson stated that over 1000 Metres tonight E UNIVERSE, under its top weight of 134 lbs, did not travel well and, in his opinion, would be better suited by being stepped up in distance where it can travel at a more sustainable early pace. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well, raced prominently, 2 wide, 1/2L back, same position on turn, hit the front 200M, kept on well to the line and scored.

Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by E UNIVERSE which shifted out. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide in midfield, angled out approaching 400M, very wide into straight, made some progress in the run home, not able to challenge.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and was bumped. After the event, Y L Chung stated that after jumping awkwardly, his mount settled further back in the early stages. He said after allowing HAPPY HORSE to go forward, it was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event, resulting in it not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY HORSE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Jumped with them, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, peaked and headed 200M, weakened final 50M.

Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, MA COMET will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
