Crowded start, raced 2 wide towards rear, angled out 350M, 7 to 8 lengths back turning in, made some progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start made contact with VIRTUS GLORY when taken out slightly by SUPERB KING. Sent for sampling post-race.

Out with rest, raced in midfield on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, closed off well to make frame without threatening.

Shortly after the start raced tight between FATAL BLOW and THE HEIR which shifted out.

Began smartly from gate 1, raced in 2nd, 1-1/2L back turning in, showed very good response in straight, took the lead approaching 100M, kept on well to the line and scored.

Near the 900 Metres was momentarily crowded by MEOWTH which was taken in by ARGENTO OCEAN which shifted in before being corrected by its rider B Avdulla.

Began only fairly, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on evenly early in straight, weakened final 100M.

Moderately away, raced behind midfield on outer, no cover for the majority of the race, very wide into straight, failed to close off in straight. (Rider reported that his saddle shifted back on jumping.)

Jumped well from gate 11, raced better than midfield on the outside, 3Ls back turning in, finished off evenly.

Jumped only fairly and then shortly after was bumped by STARRY SHOW which shifted in. Making the Home Turn shifted out and away from FALCON HUNTER and as a result was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FATAL BLOW.

Commenced well, raced 2 wide slightly behind midfield, 6 lengths or so back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight.

Lay out making the first turn. Raced keenly in the middle stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the outside, still 9 Ls back turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Leaving the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied to obtain a position behind EVERSTAR.

Made contact at start, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/2L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 100M, weakened gradually close home, finished 2nd.

Making the Home Turn commenced to hang out when racing tight to the inside of VIRTUS GLORY. As a result THUNDER PRINCE was then checked to avoid VIRTUS GLORY and then shifted out abruptly. Z Purton stated that his mount had not raced in a similar manner previously and he could offer no explanation as to why it did so. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The racing manners of THUNDER PRINCE were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, THUNDER PRINCE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away with them, raced behind midfield on the inside, 7 lengths or so back turning in, made some headway in straight.

Lay out on the Home Turn. A Badel stated that with blinkers being applied for the first occasion his mount raced keenly and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
