After the event, Z Purton stated that his mount was able to lead in the early stages without being pressured, but gave ground in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, would derive benefit from today’s first up performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 9, raced at rear, 6 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

Leaving the 1400 Metres was eased to avoid BEAUTY ETERNAL which shifted in before being corrected by its rider Z Purton. Approaching the 200 Metres was steadied to avoid VOYAGE BUBBLE when STRAIGHT ARRON was taken out by BEAUTY JOY (M Chadwick) which shifted out. M Chadwick was advised to exercise more care.

Shifted out at start and bumped, sent forward to take the lead, 2 wide, travelled well to turn, hard ridden 300M, kept on well but unable to hold off the first two close home.

After the event, H Bowman stated that his mount travelled well throughout the race, initially responded to his riding in the early part of the Home Straight and, in his opinion, would derive benefit from today’s first up performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Withdrawn on 12.10.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (heart abnormality).
