Moderately away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 450M, unable to obtain clear run until approaching final 100M, finished off very strongly, led close home.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 2 wide towards rear, angled out after passing 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, made some progress in the run home.

Near the 900 Metres was steadied away from AWESOME TREASURE (Apprentice P N Wong) which, after shifting in to the lead when not quite clear, then eased the pace. Apprentice Wong was advised in similar circumstances she must ensure that she is sufficiently clear of runners to her inside before she eases the pace of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly, tracked leaders, 3 wide, a length back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 500 Metres was bumped by LOVING VIBES. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out at start and bumped, sent forward to take the lead, 2 wide, travelled well to turn, hard ridden 300M, kept on well but unable to hold off the first two close home.

Bumped start and unbalanced, positioned 3 wide with cover, 2-1/2L back, there to turn, finished off strongly, just beaten by a narrow margin.

For some distance approaching the 900 Metres raced ungenerously when racing tight to the inside of CAPITAL LEGEND. After the event, A Badel reported that his mount resented racing amongst horses and in the Home Straight responded only fairly to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 1, raced prominently on the inside, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final 250M. (See Racing Incidents.)

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Making the first turn near the 800 Metres was shifted out when awkwardly placed on the heels of CAPITAL LEGEND.

Moderately away, positioned 2 wide, 1-1/2L back, there to turn, hard ridden approaching 300M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 100M.

Jumped only fairly. After the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of REWARDING TWINKLE to continue into clear running.

Near the 500 Metres was bumped and taken wider by CLASSIC CENTURY which shifted out to improve.

Bumped shortly after start, positioned 2 wide, 2 to 3 lengths back, found rail 600M, same margin back turning in, no clear run early in straight, ran on evenly thereafter.

After the 450 Metres was shifted to the outside of WRITTEN CASA to secure clear running and then raced tight between WRITTEN CASA and CAPITAL LEGEND for some distance thereafter.

Jumped well from gate 10, unable to slot in, trapped 4 wide, 2 lengths or so back, no cover throughout, finished off evenly. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event, C Y Ho stated that it was not his intention to hold a forward position, but after jumping only fairly, he rode his mount along in an endeavour to hold a competitive position. He said after improving to the outside of CLASSIC CENTURY and then THRIVING BROTHERS, he was obliged to continue to improve forward to avoid racing wide. He said as a consequence LOVING VIBES settled more forward than anticipated. He added that his mount raced greenly and on the Home Turn shifted out and away from REWARDING TWINKLE and made contact with THRIVING BROTHERS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began fairly, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, no daylight early in straight, cleared approaching 200M, finished off strongly, nearest finish.
