Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

Incident Report
Shifted out on jumping and bumped LE ZONDA. From the 450 Metres to the 350 Metres was held up for clear running behind SHAMUS STORM. Bumped approaching the winning post. Sent for sampling post-race.

Crowded start, unable to slot in, trapped wide in midfield on the outside, slightly taken back approaching 700M, found cover near 650M, 6-1/2L back turning in, made no progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Approaching the winning post shifted out and made contact with ENTHUSIUM which also shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.

Apprentice H Y Yuen was reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 2 consecutive strides near the 150 Metres.

Average to begin, raced 2 wide in midfield, similar position on turn, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on same pace in straight. (Sustained an abrasion to its left front leg.)

Jumped awkwardly. After travelling a short distance MIGHTY STRENGTH then made contact with SHAMUS STORM. Near the 1800 Metres was steadied when racing in restricted room between FLYING LUCK and SHAMUS STORM.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced 2 wide better than midfield, difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, 2-1/4L back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Bumped on jumping. Near the 1400 Metres, when racing keenly, improved to the inside of ENTHUSIUM (A Atzeni) which shifted out slightly. When ENTHUSIUM then shifted back in LE ZONDA made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced when crowded to the inside of ENTHUSIUM. A Atzeni was advised to exercise more care.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced better than midfield on the inside, easy run to turn, kept on well in straight to take 2nd, not quite able to challenge.

After travelling a short distance became unbalanced when it made contact with MIGHTY STRENGTH. H Bentley stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight which he attributed to the "”Soft” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race. H Bentley was reprimanded for using the whip on consecutive occasions in 3 consecutive strides near the 170 Metres.

Inconvenienced at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with MONEY CATCHER. Raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 1600 Metres was steadied to avoid MISSION GIANT.

Crowded start, raced 3 wide slightly better than midfield, peaked on run 500M, weakened early in straight when hard run took toll.

Shortly after the start shifted in and made contact with LE ZONDA. After the 1600 Metres was hampered when taken wider by MISSION GIANT which shifted out when racing keenly. J Orman stated that his mount was hampered after the 1600 Metres which resulted in him having to come back to obtain cover. He added that POPE CODY failed to handle the "Soft” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Made contact at start, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, stayed on evenly to take a place.

Raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 1800 Metres was steadied to avoid PRESTIGE GOOD (Apprentice H Y Yuen) which shifted in when not clear. Apprentice Yuen was severely reprimanded. After the 1600 Metres, when racing keenly, shifted out when being steadied to avoid SHAMUS STORM. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back to race 3 wide with cover behind midfield, angled out 500M, made no impression in straight.

Incident Report
Bumped at the start. K C Leung stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event but did not appreciate the "Soft” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <4/5/2026 Additional Veterinary Reports> MONEY CATCHER, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. MONEY CATCHER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MONEY CATCHER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
