Jumped with them, raced 2 wide, 3 lengths or so back, wider turning in, kept on evenly in straight.

Near the 400 Metres shifted in slightly and was bumped on the hindquarters. Sent for sampling post-race.

Commenced well, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, travelled well to turn, challenged the leader after turning in, hit the front 100M, kept on well to the line and scored. (Blood in trachea.)

As the start was effected lunged forward and made contact with the starting gate. As a result THE HEIR was slow to begin. Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied to avoid GREAT LOOKING when that runner was giving ground, resulting in THE HEIR shifting out and making contact with MASTER LUCKY. Approaching the winning post could not be ridden out when held up behind WORLD HERO. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began smartly from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably to turn, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner final 100M.

Bumped shortly after the start. The Stewards considered a protest/objection lodged by Z Purton, rider of 4th placegetter, RAINBOW SEVEN, against ARGENTO OCEAN being declared 2nd placegetter alleging interference on the Home Turn. After viewing the videos and considering the evidence the Stewards found that RAINBOW SEVEN became unbalanced near the 400 Metres when crowded for room between GREAT LOOKING which shifted out slightly when giving ground and ARGENTO OCEAN (B Avdulla) which shifted in slightly. As the Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that had the interference not have occurred that RAINBOW SEVEN would have finished in advance of ARGENTO OCEAN the protest/objection was overruled and weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. B Avdulla was advised to exercise more care.

Away with them, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Near the 800 Metres was bumped by MASTER LUCKY which shifted out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Slightly slow out, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 wide turning in, kept on well in straight to take a place without threatening.

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start made contact with RAINBOW SEVEN. Raced keenly throughout the middle stages and for some distance near the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid ARGENTO OCEAN. In this incident MASTER LUCKY shifted out and made contact with FATAL BLOW. Bumped near the 400 Metres.

Jumped well, raced 3 wide with no cover, a length or so back, peaked on turn, weakened early in straight when hard run took toll.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up making the Home Turn and in the early stages of the Home Straight and did not obtain clear running until near the 250 Metres.

Taken back from gate 12, raced at rear, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, made some progress in straight.

E C W Wong stated that his mount became unbalanced making the Home Turn when under pressure and weakened noticeably thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. As this was the 3rd consecutive occasion that GREAT LOOKING had finished tailed out, the Stewards ruled that it must perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in consecutive barrier trials and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
