Shifted out at start, raced in midfield on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, peaked early in straight, kept on same pace to the line.

After passing the 400 Metres was held up for clear running until passing the 300 Metres. Noted to have lost its right hind plate after the race. Sent for sampling post-race.

J Orman explained that his instructions were to be in a forward position, stepping up in distance tonight and when caught wide in the early stages he elected to go forward and take up a position outside the leader.

Lifted front feet on jumping and away tardily, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run in straight, eased final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began well, raced 2 wide, a length or so back, same position on turn, hard ridden after passing 250M, took the lead 150M, kept on strongly to the line, won by 3 lengths.

Began smartly, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1-1/4L turning in, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened gradually close home, just stayed on to take 2nd.

A Badel reported that his mount travelled well in the early and middle stages, however, was under pressure from the 500 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, raced better than midfield on the inside, 2 wide on turn, finished off well, just missed out on 2nd in a photo.

Commenced a forward move without cover from the 900 Metres and continued to race very wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. A Atzeni reported that his instructions were to take up a forward position, however, was unable to do so from the wide barrier. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position if possible. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Z Purton reported that due to his mount not wanting to settle in the early and middle stages, in his opinion, was the reason for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of DIRIYA, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, DIRIYA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
