Began well, raced 2 wide, a length or so back, same position on turn, hard ridden after passing 250M, took the lead 150M, kept on strongly to the line, won by 3 lengths.

A short distance after the start was tightened for room momentarily between CHEER FOR SOUTH which was taken out slightly by TAI VICTORY and VIVA CHALEUR which shifted in slightly.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail, 8 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

Z Purton reported that after his mount was slow to begin it never travelled at any stage during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of ONLY U was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, ONLY U will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, RACINGRACE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
