Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Y L Chung stated that the instructions were to settle where comfortable. He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow the horse to stride forward to hold an on-pace position.

Bumped shortly after the start. C L Chau stated that he had anticipated holding a slightly more forward position but his mount did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so. He added in the Home Straight VERY GRATEFUL finished the race off in a one-paced manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced at rear on the outside, commenced move approaching 450M, very wide turning in, made some progress early in straight, peaked 150M, kept on same pace to the line.

Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MAGIC SUPER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
