Slightly slow out and bumped, raced behind midfield on the outside early, moved a bit closer after entering the back straight, peaked near 400M, weakened early in straight.

M F Poon stated that his instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said from the outside barrier when his mount jumped awkwardly he was obliged to settle further back in the field than intended.

Moderately away, raced 2 wide better than midfield, 3 wide on turn, kept on same pace in straight.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Began well from gate 10, raced in 2nd early, sat right behind the leader after passing 650M, saved ground on turn, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 50M, headed close home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly. M Guyon stated that after settling back in the field he was satisfied with the horse’s finishing effort, however, was of the opinion it may benefit with the addition of blinkers. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back to race 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 350M, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to the heels of TELECOM FIGHTERS which shifted out. Z Purton could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing run. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

No report. <26/2/2026 Additional Veterinary Reports>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that KEEN MOLLY was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, KEEN MOLLY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped on jumping. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up between URANUS STAR and WIN BEAUTY VIVA. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Began well from the widest draw, raced prominently but trapped 3 wide, 2 wide from 700M, 1-1/4L back turning in, kept on evenly in straight.

Near the 1100 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid TELECOM FIGHTERS.

A Atzeni could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <26/2/2026 Additional Veterinary Reports>SILO, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SILO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Richards this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SILO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
