Jumped with them, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, challenged by rival from 500M, peaked and headed 300M, kept on evenly, missed 3rd on line.

Held up for clear running after passing the 500 Metres before gaining a clear run between LUCKY BANNER and FLOOF near the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slow to begin, raced at rear on the inside, angled out after passing 600M, 6 lengths back turning in, made some headway in straight.

After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount resented the kickback during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Slowly away and inconvenienced, raced at rear on the outside, moved closer after passing 900M, 3 lengths or so back on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. The performance of BLISSFUL STAR was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BLISSFUL STAR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Out in line, raced 2 wide towards rear, 3 wide from 700M, 4 lengths back turning in, bumped approaching 300M, finished off well to take a place.

After the race, H Bowman could offer no explanation for the horse’s performance other than it was having its first start on the All Weather track today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
