On jumping was bumped heavily on the hindquarters and became unbalanced, raced in midfield on the middle track, hard ridden approaching 350M, took the lead 150M, kept on very well to the line, won by 2 lengths.

Y L Chung confirmed the instructions were to lead the event but his mount failed to show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so.

M Chadwick reported that on jumping his mount blundered, resulting in SUPERB CAPITALIST becoming unbalanced. He said throughout the event SUPERB CAPITALIST hung out and did not finish the race off when under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
