Jumped awkwardly. From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid OLDTOWN. J Orman stated that when caught wide early he was obliged to settle back in the field to avoid covering additional ground. He added in the Home Straight BROWNNEEDSFURTHER was unable to run on when placed under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

L Ferraris reported that his mount raced keenly and hung out throughout the early and middle stages of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

When questioned H Bentley stated that passing the 900 Metres he became concerned with his mount’s action when it blundered for a number of strides. He added soon after AMAZING FUN was under pressure but when he was concerned there was something amiss with the horse he did not ride it out in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of AMAZING FUN was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, AMAZING FUN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. <5/3/2026 19 February 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting – Race 7 (450)> Additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings.
