Began awkwardly and made contact, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final furlong.

On jumping made contact with BOTTOMUPTOGETHER due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.

Clean jump, raced prominently, 2 wide, there to turn, hit the front 400M, kept on very well to the line, won comfortably.

Began well from the widest draw, raced slightly better than midfield but trapped wide, 3 lengths or so back, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, kept on same pace to the line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid CRIMSON FLASH which shifted out slightly when racing keenly. Raced keenly in the middle stages and for some distance near the 600 Metres was steadied away from SKY TRUST. Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running and over the final 100 Metres then raced tight between CRIMSON FLASH and MAGIC CONTROL.

Taken back from gate 10, raced behind midfield on outer, bumped near 1200M, 5-1/2L back turning in, made no progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Approaching the 700 Metres improved to the outside of GORGEOUS WIN and for a short distance later made contact with GORGEOUS WIN when those two runners contested a position behind MAGIC CONTROL.

Slowly away, raced at tail throughout, never a factor.

Raced keenly when being crossed by LADY’S CHOICE near the 900 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began only fairly, positioned 3 wide with cover, 4 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, finished off well to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Jumped awkwardly. Raced keenly in the middle stages. In the early stages of the Home Straight lay in and proved reluctant to shift to the outside of PATCH OF STARS.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide slightly behind midfield, there to turn, made contact near 350M, unable to obtain clear run in straight.

On jumping made contact with SKY TRUST due to both runners shifting ground. Over the concluding stages was steadied when it shifted in and away from CRIMSON FLASH. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, BOTTOMUPTOGETHER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped shortly after start, sent forward to take the lead, travelled well to turn, peaked and headed 400M, weakened final 150M.

Bumped at the start. Over the final 100 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be ridden out to the finish.

Bumped shortly after start, positioned 2 wide, 1 to 2 lengths back, there to turn, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line. (Lame right front leg next day morning.)

Bumped at the start. Over the concluding stages was steadied when racing tight to the inside of BOTTOMUPTOGETHER which shifted in and away from CRIMSON FLASH. K C Leung could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance after the 600 Metres raced keenly and was steadied away from SON PAK FU. Over the concluding stages was steadied when disappointed for clear running to the inside of LADY’S CHOICE.

Bumped at start, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made no impression in straight.

On jumping became unbalanced when it made contact with LADY’S CHOICE. Near the 700 Metres made contact with PATCH OF STARS. H Bowman stated that his mount’s run ended near the 200 Metres but could offer no excuse for its failure to run on. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Away well, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on same pace in the run home.

Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, AURORA LADY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
