Shortly after the start was severely checked when crowded between CASA OF HONOR which was taken in slightly by BLUE ILLUSION and SIX THREE WIN which was taken out by DEVAS TWELVE when that runner shifted out despite the efforts of its rider M Chadwick.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, peaked on turn, weakened and eased inside final furlong.

Shortly after the start was contacted on the hindquarters by LOVE TOGETHER and became badly unbalanced. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground to turn, angled out 400M, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Approaching the 300 Metres was bumped by BLUE ILLUSION which shifted out. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Shortly after the start was crowded. In the middle stages raced keenly and for some distance approaching the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid HAYDAY.

Began only fairly and made contact, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 wide after passing 800M, moved closer 600M, 2-1/2L back turning in, finished off well to score.

Shortly after the start was contacted on the hindquarters by CASA OF HONOR and as a consequence became badly unbalanced. Shifted out approaching the 300 Metres and was bumped. R Kingscote stated that after being bumped on the Home Turn he had concern with the horse’s action in the Home Straight and therefore did not ride it out to the finish when not in a competitive position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
